James + Hayley’s wedding in St Albans
On a beautiful sun-shower day.
James and Hayley exchanged vows and became husband and wife during their wedding in St Albans.
James and his nine groomsmen started the day off at home, while the girls got ready at the stunning Sopwell House Hotel. James and Hayley’s little man, Reynold was with the boys and sweet little girl, Everly joined mom at the hotel. The guys were all dressed in sharp suits and looked incredibly dapper. And I think every grooms man had a chance to keep Reynold entertained.
Meanwhile, Hayley kept her look classical with her timeless dress by What Alice Wore.
The ceremony took place at St Albans Museum and Gallery, which provided a perfect backdrop for the couple to exchange their vows.
Hayley arrived in a vintage VW camper (it never goes out of style).
Which added a touch of old-school glamour to the day. It was raining and sunny at the same time when she arrived, and it added to the glamour of the day. Hayley got out of the van looking like royalty.
The ceremony was touching, with Hayley walking down the aisle to a beautiful rendition of ‘A Thousand Years’ by Christina Perri. The couple exchanged their heartfelt vows and sealed the deal with a kiss. But with a few interruptions by little Reynold who did not want to miss a thing. The newlyweds walked out of the museum hand in hand, surrounded by their loved ones.
The reception was held at Aldwickbury Park Golf Club, which was a great location for the newlyweds and their guests to celebrate their union. The golf club was decorated beautifully, with flowers, candles, and fairy lights creating a romantic ambiance.
The speeches were particularly memorable, with James’ best man delivering a hilarious speech that had everyone in stitches.
After the laughs, Hayley’s dad gave a heartfelt speech that left many in tears.
It was a pleasure to witness their union and we wish them all the happiness in the world as they embark on their journey as husband and wife.
